These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of xraymypolicy.com and any Policy X-Ray service purchased from GetSure Insurance Agency, operated by Algoli LLC ("we," "us," "GetSure"). By ordering a Policy X-Ray or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
What the service is
A Policy X-Ray is an independent, written analytical review of an insurance policy you already own. It covers life insurance (whole life, universal life, IUL, VUL, term) and annuities (fixed, variable, indexed, deferred income). The deliverable is a PDF document. It may include specific product recommendations.
What the service is not
- Not legal advice. For legal questions, consult a licensed attorney.
- Not tax advice. For tax questions, consult a CPA or tax attorney.
- Not a comprehensive financial plan. For comprehensive planning, consult a fiduciary financial planner.
- Not a fiduciary relationship. GetSure is a licensed insurance producer, regulated under state insurance law, and held to a suitability and best-interest standard, not a fiduciary standard.
- Not guaranteed performance. The analysis projects how your policy is likely to behave based on current assumptions and carrier illustrations, but actual outcomes depend on future events outside our control.
Payment and refunds
- Fees are charged at the time of order via Stripe.
- Money-back guarantee. If your analysis concludes there is no useful insight in your policy and no action worth taking, we will refund your fee in full. Refund requests must be submitted within thirty (30) days of delivery of the analysis.
- Chargebacks or payment disputes filed without first requesting a refund through our process may be contested.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete information about yourself and the policy being reviewed.
- Provide requested policy documents (annual statement, contract) or sign authorization forms allowing us to request them from your carrier.
- Respond to our clarifying questions within a reasonable time. Analyses may be delayed if we cannot obtain required information.
- Do not submit policies that are not yours or that you do not have authority to share.
Compensation disclosure
If your analysis recommends a new insurance product and you choose to purchase that product through GetSure, we earn a standard carrier commission on the new policy — the same commission built into every insurance product on the market, whether purchased through us or any other licensed agent. The commission amount is disclosed in your analysis before you make any decision.
You are never required to purchase a new product through us. You may execute any recommended change through any licensed agent or directly with the carrier.
Intellectual property
The written analysis we deliver is yours to keep, share, and use for your own decision-making. You may not republish, resell, or commercially distribute the document without our written permission.
We may retain an anonymized copy of your analysis (with all identifying information removed) for internal training, methodology improvement, and worked-example libraries.
Licensing and regulation
GetSure Insurance Agency is licensed as an insurance producer in all 50 states. License numbers are available on request. All analyses are performed or reviewed by a licensed agent. We are subject to state insurance department regulation and will cooperate with any regulatory inquiry.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SPECIFIC ANALYSIS GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where prohibited by mandatory state insurance law or consumer protection statutes applicable to your state of residence.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
